A television appeal for loving families to adopt children looking for permanent homes in Wales will be made in the first week of November 2004.

To mark National Adoption Week, ITV Wales have allocated their community slot to Saint David’s Children Society. The short feature will be televised just after 3pm daily from November 1 to November 5.

‘‘This is a golden opportunity which we hope will attract loving families to adopt some of the 250 children in Wales and Herefordshire who looking for permanent homes,’’ said the Society’s Director, Gerry Cooney.
