David Reid
Born in County Durham in 1949, David Reid, who was blind and a fluent reader of Braille lived in Cardiff for over thirty years. He read Literature and Philosophy for an MA at Cardiff University. He worked as an English teacher, broadcaster and musician, and had been writing poetry, intermittently, over the last three decades. Truth Street, a collection of poems, was published in 1999 by the Woodville Press, Cardiff.
He regularly reviewed music and drama for local newspapers.

David died in New York on Monday January 10, 2003 and was buried in Cardiff, his adopted city.
